Frequently Asked Questions

Should I use on-premises servers or cloud?
It depends on your workload. On-premises is typically better for latency-sensitive applications, data-sovereign workloads, predictable heavy compute, and regulated environments. Cloud excels for variable workloads, global reach, and rapid scaling. Many businesses benefit from a hybrid approach — we help you decide what's right for each workload.
How long does a server deployment take?
A single server deployment typically takes 1–2 weeks from order to production. Virtualisation cluster deployments are 2–4 weeks. Full HCI or data centre builds can take 4–8 weeks depending on scope. We pre-stage hardware in our facility before arriving on site, which keeps on-site time to a minimum.
Can you migrate our existing servers to virtual machines?
Yes. We perform P2V (physical to virtual) migrations using VMware vCenter Converter and other tools. We test each VM in a staging environment before cutting over production. Most P2V migrations are completed within a planned maintenance window with no data loss and minimal downtime.
What server brands do you recommend?
We are vendor-neutral and recommend what's right for your environment and budget. HPE and Dell are our primary recommendations for enterprise environments due to their support infrastructure in India. Lenovo offers excellent value for cost-sensitive deployments. Supermicro suits GPU and HPC use cases.
Do you provide hardware warranty and support?
Yes. We procure hardware with manufacturer warranty and can arrange extended support contracts directly with HPE, Dell, and others. Our managed support service supplements manufacturer warranty with our own 24/7 monitoring and on-site response SLAs, so you have a single point of contact for all issues.
How do you handle server hardware failures?
Our monitoring detects hardware faults (disk failures, memory errors, PSU issues) before they cause outages. For critical failures, we have on-site response within 4 hours under our managed contracts. We also maintain spare parts inventory for common components to minimise repair time for customers on our managed plans.
